If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?

Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I would ban the word “retard(ed)” it is extremely inappropriate to use in any setting.

As an individual on the autism spectrum, I pledge to never use it. Why is that? Well, it originally started as a clinical term for mentally delayed but by the time I was in high school, it became a derogatory term for people saying things like someone is slow, dumb, etc.

Living with ASD can make me delayed at certain things like recognizing social cues. To call me that word or to use it in your everyday language is an insult to people like me. It’s as if we are stupid, unworthy, or we need to be eradicated or cured. It doesn’t matter if it is directed at me or not. Do not use it.

The fact that I still see people on the Internet today using it, repulses me.
