Games I’m Excited For

I love writing about many different games and there are so many that I’m hyped to play but have been waiting longer than I’ve hoped to get my hands on them! Right now they are the following:

Hollow Knight: Silksong

No brainer, I’ve written about this one a few times back when it was announced in 2019, was it? I’ve been waiting for so long. I’ve forgotten when I started waiting!

The simple reason for the hype, we get to play as Hornet! She’s one of my favourite characters in the HK universe and now she gets her own story.

I just wish the devs would share an update, even if it’s a small one because we’ve been kept in the dark for years now and this game sits at the top of my wishlist. Team Cherry consists of only three people but still, I wonder if they’re still working on it.

Then again, I’ve been told people waited years for Elden Ring before they finally got it.

Bionicle: Masks of Power

Yeah, I wrote about this one not too long ago, didn’t I? I can’t say no to a Bionicle game given how much the franchise means to me!

I’ve been waiting two years since its first teaser and the devs hope to have a demo out early next year. There isn’t an exact date but I’ll be playing the demo in a heartbeat. Open-world and hack and slash? Now you’re talking!

I’m also interested to see what abilities the Toa have in the game. Already I got a sneak peek of Lewa’s and a tiny bit of Onua’s. Please make Tahu surf on lava! It would be unacceptable if he doesn’t in this game!

Rumor has it that it’ll be free since it’s a fan-made game but I won’t hold my breath on that. I’m so excited about this one and you can read my recent thoughts on it here

Haunted Chocolatier

Okay, I don’t think I’ve mentioned this one yet. This is a new game coming from lone Stardew Valley dev ConcernedApe. Only this time instead of running a farm, we run our own chocolate factory. Sign me up! I’d love to be a chocolatier!

Looks like it’ll take a similar approach to SDV such as foraging and crafting. I could have sworn I saw little ghosts in the trailer that looked Boos! I also wonder what the NPCs will be like and who’s on the market hehe… I haven’t started Coral Island yet but I have a pretty good idea who I want to marry in that game!

Anyway, this game will be great for chocolate lovers like myself!

Those are my top 3 games I’m still waiting for even though I most certainly won’t play them on the first day. Waiting sucks but I’d rather have the devs take their time to get it right.
