My Favourite Disney Princes

Everyone talks about who their favourite princesses are of the Disney universe, but what about the men?

The princes of Disney can be just as memorable and in this article, I’ll be talking about which ones I like most.

Eric

Prince Eric is charming and adventurous, plus he never likes to stay in one place. It’s no wonder Ariel was attracted to him. I think his dog Max was playing matchmaker for him in the entire movie!

It also took me forever to unlock Eric in Dreamlight Valley but when I finally did it was worth it to allow Ariel to become human. Also, I don’t know why, but I really love Eric’s formal attire too and he lives in a castle overlooking the ocean! What more could a girl ask for?

The Beast

I used to be scared of him when he was first introduced in the movie. But once he warms up to Belle he becomes super sweet and not to mention quite affectionate. I also have a soft spot for his voice. I wish I had gone to meet Robby Benson when he was at Fan Expo. He is also beautiful in his human form as well, especially his hair.

He’s not too bad in the remake either except Dan Stevens doesn’t bring the same butterflies in my stomach as Robby did, nor was he as sweet and romantic. However, I did like how he got his own song and his relationship with Belle had some more growth.

So as you can see I’ve been able to understand the beauty of the beast long before Lordi entered my life.

Naveen

I remember when Naveen was first introduced, he seemed to have a big ego. But, I also liked how he was one of those princes who didn’t care for all his royal duties, he just wanted to go out into the street in casual attire doing his own thing.

What also makes me like him is that as he searches for a way to undo his transformation with Tiana, he becomes a better person and learns what it’s like to love someone. He and Tiana make a great couple.

Aladdin

We all know that Aladdin didn’t start off as a prince, but he lived on the streets, having to steal food in order to be able to feed himself. Despite the trouble he always got into, I liked his relationship with most of the townsfolk and his monkey Abu.

It’s just too bad that in the beginning, he was unable to see that it could be possible for Jasmine to love him for who he was so he insisted on making himself appear to be a prince to impress her. He learns an important lesson in the end, don’t change for someone you love. He was also pretty good in the remake as well and doesn’t get enough credit compared to the original actor and to be honest, the Aladdin remake has been one of my favourites so far.

The Disney Princes are definitely underappreciated compared to the princesses so that’s why I wanted to write this. Who are your favourites?
