Dreams

Calmness Within Eden

I think I know why I had this dream. I spent a good portion of one afternoon working on my Darksiders fanfic and finished another chapter where Azrael visits the Makers who are watching over the human survivors. They have just started to see other humans coming back from the Well, albeit not in physical form.

I didn’t know how I was going to incorporate that particular piece into the story, but I didn’t want everything to be perfect in terms of them returning from extinction. I know now that certain scenes I am looking forward to writing for myself and my friend, will take place in Eden itself.

When this dream began, I recall watching the sunset as the Horsemen and my other friend dispersed a little, but I could only stare in awe at the beauty of the place. War and Strife often talked about how the place felt like a graveyard in the previous times they had been there. But now, the buildings and gardens seemed redone as if no battle took place utter peace present, and beautiful as Rivendell.

While I was exploring the grounds, walking past large pillars and waterfalls, War came to find me and asked how I was settling in. By now, it was night and I couldn’t sleep so I had decided to take a walk. He offered to join me and I let him.

We walked silently among the pillars until we came to one of the large gardens with many flowers resembling daisies, there was a large waterfall nearby, and a single stone bench. I sat down and watched as War wandered past me and then he returned with one of those daisies and handed it to me. I tucked it behind my ear thanking him. He said we had been through so much since he rescued me from the ruined structure in the Scalding Gallow and I thanked him for being honest earlier and protecting me from Samael when the demon looked like he wanted to use me for his own schemes.

I stood up and said I was ready to help him defeat the enemies and the whole time this scene occurred, I could just imagine the music playing during that romantic scene between Aragorn and Arwen in The Fellowship of the Ring, and that was where I told War how I felt as the stars twinkled and the moon shone over the garden as the waterfall thundered nearby and I placed my hands on his chest saying we’ve both overcome our damages and will face the future together. His eyes were glowing the whole time but not as fierce like they did in combat and took my hand in his right one leaning forward and then we shared a kiss in that beautiful environment.

When I opened my eyes afterwards to look at him, that was when I woke up, and I can imagine that being the first kiss scene in my fanfiction. There will be some other romantic scenes that follow before the final battle takes place, but that’s all I will say for now as these dreams are usually just rough drafts, as I have said. However, they do serve as great ideas for future chapters. I still have a bunch brewing from dreams that will be added to my Heisenberg fanfic!

That’s it for now, I’ve got a lot of stuff I have to do today and hopefully it can all be done so I still have some of a Saturday to enjoy.
